Description

The Chequers Public House is an early 19th-century building, originally constructed with plastered clay lump and retaining its original hipped thatched roof. It is a two-storey structure with two windows. The windows are early 19th-century casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor. A central glazed door provides access. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. A lean-to extension is present to the south.
