Description

Hapton Chapel is a small 18th-century Presbyterian chapel, built in 1741. It is constructed of rendered timber-frame and has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The front elevation features three round-headed windows with Gothic lights and leaded panes, and a central round-headed doorway with a panelled door. A Victorian wooden gabled porch fronts the doorway. The interior was converted to a dwelling and now includes a floor; original fittings, such as pews, a gallery, and a pulpit, were removed.
