Description

Tharston Mill is an 18th century mill that has been converted into a house. It is located on the River Tas and features a timber-frame structure with weatherboarding. The roof is made of pantiles and has gabled ends. The building stands three storeys high and consists of six or seven bays. It has casement windows with glazing bars. There is a modern gabled porch on the right side and a lean-to on the left (west) end. Additionally, there is a gabled hoist housing that is cantilevered over the later granary wing at the east end.
