Description

A 15th-century Wealden house, originally timber-framed and now plastered. The floors at each end are jettied, creating an overhanging effect. The steeply pitched hipped roof is covered with pantiles. The house has two storeys and attics. 19th-century casement windows are visible, and a modern door is positioned to the left of centre, set in front of a brick chimney stack. Later gabled dormers have been added. Inside, there is a screens passage with a screen and a wall dividing the main area from a service room, featuring two arched openings with carved spandrels.
