Description
The School House is a subdivided house that is attached to a school, likely dating from the 17th century and later. It features a rendered timber frame and a thatched roof. A later extension at the rear creates an L-shaped plan. The windows are mostly from the 18th century, consisting of metal casements, leaded lights, and some with mullion and transom frames. There are two 19th-century front doors with simple hoods, a single dormer, and a large gable-end stack, which probably originally housed a stair to the side. There is also a stack associated with the later extension. The school itself is not considered of special interest.
