Description
The Lodge, formerly known as Isefield, is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of brick with a gault brick facade and features a black pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays of sash windows with glazing bars, all set beneath skewback arches. The central bay is slightly advanced, and there is a fine central porch in the Doric style, which includes pilasters and a pair of later octagonal columns that retain their Doric capitals. The porch is topped with an entablature that has triglyphs and guttae. The eaves are supported by long brackets arranged in groups of three, and the roof is hipped. There are extensions to the building.
