Description

Mundham House is an 18th-century brick house with a hipped roof covered in black glazed pantiles. It originally comprised three rooms, with later 19th and 20th-century additions to the rear. The front facade is five bays wide, with two storeys and an attic. It features sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath rubbed and gauged brick arches. A central doorcase has two orders of pilasters supporting an open pediment; the door itself consists of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a peacock tail fanlight. Five sashes are present on the first floor. The eaves cornice has timber modillions. Two 20th-century attic dormers each have open pediments. Two chimney stacks have been rebuilt on the rear wall. A rear wing includes an elaborately tiled outside lavatory dating to around 1880.
