Description
The Rectory is a mid-19th century building designed in the Tudor Gothic style. It features rendered brick walls and a newly tiled roof with gabled ends, which include pierced and shaped bargeboards with pendants and finials, as well as shaped exposed joist ends at the eaves soffit. The structure is two storeys tall and has an asymmetrical design, with a projecting gabled bay off to one side and a gabled porch on the right. The porch has similar bargeboards and a double-chamfered doorway with a 4-centred arch, along with side windows that display lozenge and diamond pattern glazing bars.
On the west side, the building has an asymmetrical double gable, one of which features a two-storeyed splayed bay. There is a long wing at the rear of the property. The windows are all hollow chamfered mullion and transom types, with only a few retaining the original lozenge and diamond-shaped panes. The chimney stacks are grouped and rendered.
