Description

Starston Grange is a timber-frame house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has a roughcast exterior and features a later, lower pitched roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The building stands two storeys high and has a five-window range of early 19th-century, three-light casements. There are two early 19th-century doorcases with pilastered architraves and cornices, both leading to panelled doors; one is located in front of the stack near the south end, while the other stack is positioned near the north end. Inside, the house has stopped and chamfered ceiling beams.
