Description

Crane's Watering Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house that has undergone many later alterations. It was refronted in the early 19th century, with the right side refronted in the early 20th century to match. The house features a hipped black glazed pantile roof with overhanging eaves and stands two storeys tall with a five-bay front. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the ground floor includes margin lights and flat rubbed brick arches. There are two double recessed round-headed doorways with blind fanlights and panelled doors. The rear of the house is finished in plaster and red brick. Inside, there are stopped and chamfered ceiling beams.
