Description
Green Man House is a house that was formerly a public house, with a date of 1716 indicated on a plaster panel on the facade. The building is constructed of rendered and painted brick and has a pantile roof. It features a two-cell range with a parallel range and outshuts at the rear. The rendered facade has three bays and is two storeys high. It includes sash windows with horns and glazing bars set under segmental arches. The central doorcase is topped with a hood and contains a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. There is a sash window on either side of the door, and two additional sashes are located on the first floor, with an oval panel between them. The building has three shaped gables at the front, and the rear also has three shaped gables, which are now enclosed by later additions.
