Description

The barn at Hill Farm is an early 18th-century structure built from flint with brick dressings and a thatched roof. It features a gabled transept entrance on the north side, which has weatherboarding in the gable head. The main wall is supported by brick buttresses at intervals, some of which are rendered. There are two tiers of inserted 19th-century windows on the north side and one tier on the south side of the transept. The barn has a gabled roof with weatherboarded gable heads on the east and west sides. The roof structure includes tie beams, principal rafters, two tiers of butt purlins, and two tiers of collars. Hill Farmhouse is not listed.
