Description

2, Mount Street is an early 19th-century building of three storeys constructed of white brick with a mutular eaves cornice. The roof is covered with pantiles. The central section of the facade projects forward. The building has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows, then one, then three windows, each with sash windows and flat arches. The entrance is via a six-panel door, flanked by narrow side lights, set within a reeded frame and surmounted by a segmental fanlight. A tetrastyle Greek Doric porch provides a portico. The building possesses group value from this prominent architectural style.
