Description
Hall Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick that was formerly limewashed. It features a steeply-pitched black glazed pantile roof and has an L-shaped plan with two storeys and attics. The facade is symmetrical with five bays, showcasing sash windows with glazing bars and gauged brick arches above the openings. The central doorway is framed by a Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters and a lead-covered canopy, leading to a six-panel door with two upper glazed panels. A wooden modillion eaves cornice runs along the roofline.
There are two gabled dormers with 3-light casements and Dutch gables that include internal panelled chimney stacks. Platbands are present at the bases of the gables. To the north, there is a 2.5-storey range that is four windows wide, featuring 4-light casements with segmental heads. The end bay contains a 20th-century square-headed casement above a 20th-century garage door. An off-centre six-panel door is set in a segmental-headed opening, and there is a central gabled dormer. The north gable is parapeted and has an internal chimney stack, with a modillion eaves cornice. Additionally, there is a catslide roof over lean-tos in the north-west angle.
