Description

This is a 17th century timber-frame cottage located approximately 75 yards south of Springside on Forncett Low Road. The cottage is plastered and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. It has one storey and an attic. On the ground floor, there are two 19th century casement windows and plank doors. The first floor, which is situated under the eaves, has an original small window with diagonally set square section mullions. A central brick chimney stack is also present.
