Description

This is a 17th-century timber-frame cottage located on Low Road, Forncett St Mary. The cottage is plastered and has a thatched roof with gabled ends. It is one storey high with an attic. The windows are modern casements, and there is a gabled dormer window. A modern door gives access to the property. Brick chimney stacks are situated at each end of the building. Later one-storey wings, also plastered, have been added to each end, and these have pantile roofs.
