Description

The Old Goods Shed is a warehouse built in 1844, located on Cemetery Lane in Wymondham. Constructed of brick with a slate roof, the building features a west return with five buttresses that separate former arches, although a late 20th-century building partially blocks these arches. The entrance is situated in the north gable, which has two outer niches for goods entry, with the western niche being blocked. Between these niches is a blind niche and an inserted sash window. A string course runs along the eaves line, and the roof is gabled. Inside, the shed has a queen post roof supported by tie beams and cross braces.
