Description

Railway Cottages is a terrace of three houses built in 1844. The cottages are constructed of flint with red brick dressings and feature slate roofs. They are two storeys high, with each house consisting of two bays. Each cottage has a gabled porch that includes a four-centred entrance arch and sidelights, leading to a plank inner door. The ground floor of each house has one horned sash window, while the first floor has two horned sash windows. The northernmost house (15) has a 20th-century ground-floor door and window. The roof is hipped and has a pair of symmetrical ridge stacks.
