Description
Wells Farmhouse is a long 17th-century building that has been converted into two cottages. It features a timber-frame structure, with the east end faced in brick from the 18th century and the west end in 19th-century brick. The roof is steep and covered with pantiles, and it has gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is located at the center of the building, and there is a brick string course at floor level. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has six windows, which are three-light casements with glazing bars. A central gabled brick porch, also from the 19th century, is located in front of the chimney stack. The rear of the building is plastered.
