Description
Wood Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of brick, likely with a timber-framed core, and has a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building features a lobby-entrance plan and stands two storeys high with three irregular bays. There is a double-leaf door located to the left of centre, set within a timber case and topped with a hood supported by rounded brackets. To the left of the door is one 19th-century three-light casement window, while to the right are two more three-light casements, separated by a second, smaller door. The first floor has three identical three-light windows. The roof is gabled with a bell base, and there is a ridge stack positioned over the door, featuring a rectangular plinth with four polygonal flues. The rear of the farmhouse is rendered and includes later outshuts, along with one gabled dormer in the roof. The interior has not been inspected.
