Description

Willow House is a 17th-century timber-frame house located on Bungay Road in Hempnall. The original structure has been plastered, with the ground floor and west end faced with brick. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles, featuring gabled ends and a brick chimney stack positioned off-centre. The house has two storeys and an attic space, with windows set within the gable ends of the attic. It has a two-window range, with modern casement windows. A modern door is located on the right-hand side. An 19th-century single-storey wing extends from the east end, also with a pantile roof. A more recent two-storey brick wing has been added to the north-west corner.
