Description
Number 12 on Golden Dog Lane is a former house that has been converted into flats. It dates from the early 19th century and is built of red brick, with the ground floor rendered halfway up. The left-hand quoins and the side and rear walls are made of white brick. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and the building has two storeys. It features three bays, with a passage entry on the right. The right-hand door is a modern one from the 20th century. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and have rubbed brick flat arches above them. There are three small additional windows, and above the passage, there is a sash window with a semi-circular arch and a top sash. The building has a fox cornice and a hipped roof, along with a well-crafted iron-work balcony at the rear.
