Description

This is a former house, now offices, dating to the late 17th century, with alterations from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is three storeys high and has an irregular window arrangement. The ground floor is red brick on the left-hand side, while the rest of the building is rendered. The roof is covered with pantiles. A door is located on the left-hand side, featuring a four-centred moulded brick arch and spandrels displaying the date 1875. Three- and four-light casement windows are positioned on either side of the door, alongside a plaque commemorating Edward Boardman. A projecting stringcourse runs above the windows. A further door is on the right-hand side, accompanied by attached Doric columns supporting a pediment. Windows are a mix of casements and sashes, and the building is finished with a paired bracket cornice.
