Description

No. 193 on Queen's Road is a house built in the mid-19th century. It features a red brick exterior and a pantiled roof with gable-end brick chimneys. The house has two storeys and three symmetrical first-floor windows. The entrance consists of a panelled door, which is partly glazed, set within panelled reveals. This door is framed by a simple doorcase that includes corner roundels. Above the door, there is a hood with a triglyph frieze, supported by two plain Doric columns. The windows throughout the house are modern plate glass, located under flat gauged brick arches. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
