Description
No. 156 on Ber Street is a house dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features flint rubble that is partly rendered at the ground floor, with red brick on the right side. Above this, there is a rendered timber frame. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The house has two storeys and a jetty at the first floor. There are five windows on the first floor. The entrance door is located on the left side in a plain reveal, flanked by sash windows that have glazing bars. On the right side, there is a re-used frieze window. The first floor also includes mullion and transom windows, as well as another re-used frieze window. An off-centre dormer gable features a mullion and transom window.
