Description

Nos. 177 and 179 on Queen's Road are a pair of mid-19th century terraced houses. They are constructed from red brick and topped with a slate roof, featuring two brick ridge chimneys. The buildings are two stories tall and have three first-floor windows arranged symmetrically. There are steps leading up to the panelled doors, with No. 179 showcasing six raised and fielded panels. Each door is topped with an overlight that has glazing bars, and they are flanked by fluted half-columns that support a hood with a triglyph frieze. The windows are sash style, featuring glazing bars and are set beneath flat gauged brick arches.
