Description

This is a barn dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, located to the northwest of Grange Farmhouse. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a red pantile roof. The barn features three sections with a central cart entrance and filled-in brick ventilation slits. The brick end quoins, additional brick courses, kneelers, and a dentil cornice indicate that the original flint walls have been heightened. The structure includes brick parapets and gables with ventilation slits. Inside, the main roof trusses have struts between the tie-beams and principals, while the intermediate trusses are supported by collars.
