Description

This is a barn located to the south-west of Bale Hall, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and covered with red pantiles. The barn has a three-stead plan, featuring a central cart entrance on the west side and a cart porch on the east side, which is flanked by outshut lean-tos. The north gable is made of flint and includes a brick honeycomb ventilation window along with brick tumbling. The south gable has two triangular honeycomb ventilation windows and tumbling. This barn is included in the listing for its group value with Bale Hall.
