Description

Brewhouse Yard is a service courtyard that has been converted into dwellings, dating from the late 18th century. It is likely the work of architects Samuel and William Wyatt, associated with Gunton Park. The building is constructed of gault brick and features slate and pantile roofs. The layout is irregular, with a central courtyard. To the west, there is a single-storey curved range that includes 20th-century sash windows. The northern part consists of a two-storey range, while the eastern side has a single-storey range that ends in a two-storey octagonal wing to the south. The entire structure has been extensively restored and includes 20th-century fittings.
