Description
Holdens Farm House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from gault and red brick and features a pantiled roof. The building is rectangular in shape with an added wing. The gault brick facade has two storeys and three bays. There is a central doorway with brick imposts and a keystone, topped with a semi-circular head. The ground floor has leaded cross casements beneath rubbed brick flat arches, while the first floor has leaded casements under wooden lintels. A brick dentil eaves cornice runs along the top. The house has axial stacks, with the right-hand stack rebuilt in red brick. To the right, there is a one-bay, two-storey wing made of red brick, featuring similar windows and a hipped roof on the right-hand gable. The left-hand gable wall has a platband, indicating that the eaves have been raised at some point.
