Description
The ruins of the Church of St Edmund are primarily from the 12th and 14th centuries. Constructed from flint with stone dressings, the site features the remains of the north and south walls of the nave, which include round-headed doorways. There are significant remnants of an early 14th-century west tower, which rises to a level above the bell openings and is supported by diagonal buttresses. The church is situated on an artificial mound.
