Description
The Parish Hall, located on the west side of Market Place in Little Walsingham, is a building from the mid to late 19th century that was formerly a school. It is constructed of red brick with yellow brick and stone dressings, designed in the Tudor Gothic style. The building features steep slated roofs with two gables that have moulded stone coping and stone finials at each corner. It has two storeys and an attic, with five windows on the front. The first-floor windows are adorned with continuous dripmoulds and consist of two and three-light mullion and transom windows with leaded panes. On either side of the building, there are doorways with studded 4-centred arch doors that have ornate hinges, carved spandrels, and dripmoulds. Above each door, there is a panel inscribed with "Girls" and "Boys." Each gable end is topped with a chimney stack that has a pair of octagonal brick shafts with moulded caps and bases.
