Description

The barn at Church Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure, dated 1666 and 1671. It is constructed of flint and brick, featuring a pantile roof and a rectangular plan. The barn is designed as a three-stead barn with large central openings on the north and south faces, which are flanked by slit lights. One of the slit lights includes a datestone from 1671. The eaves were likely raised in the 19th century using brick, and the eaves have brick dentils. The quoins are made of 17th-century brick. The gable facing the road displays a datestone from 1666. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
