Description

Hall Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse. The front facade is whitewashed plaster render, with a flint and brickdressed west gable and a brick outshut at the rear. The roof is covered with smut and glazed black pantiles. The house is two storeys high and includes a two-storey gable stairs tower set off-centre to the facade, with a two-storey outshut addition at the rear. There are single ground and first-floor 2-light casements at the west, a single ground and first-floor 3-light casement at the west, and a 3-light casement on the half landing level of the stairs tower. Three gable stacks are positioned off-centre. Parapets top the structure. The west gable has two blocked rectangular windows at first floor level and one blocked and one open attic window. A single-storey addition to the east, dating to the 20th century, is not of special interest.
