Probably C16. Flint and brick with brick quoins. Steep pantile roof, gable-ended with hipped corner. Brick dentil eaves; 2 storeys. Two windows (plus one small modern window on ground and 1st floors of No 96). Sashes with glazing bars. Two flush panel doors with glazed top halfs. Ground floor openings have brick segmental arch heads. No 96 right hand return facing Little Lane, 4 windows. Interior of No 98, fielded-panel and moulded door with original hinges, and No 96 has fireplace with tmber bressummer with many carved merchant marks. ------------------------------------
