Description

No. 45 Market Place is a mid-19th century building that stands three stories tall. It is constructed of red brick with gray brick dressings, featuring rusticated flanks and central windows, along with a toothed eaves band. The first and second floors have three sash windows, each with gauged flat arches, while the ground floor has a left-side window with sheet glass for display purposes. The central entrance is complemented by a shop window on the right, which is housed in a wooden case with pilasters and a continuous dentil entablature. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of Market Place.
