Description
Windy Nook is a 17th-century building with two storeys and an attic, located at Croft Yard, The Quay. It features three flush frame sash windows with glazing bars and a pantile roof that has a lozenge pattern in the gable. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a good chimney at the rear. There is a one-storey advanced wing on the right side. Inside, the ground floor has a stopped ovola moulded beam, while the first floor includes a 17th-century moulded panelled door and two- and six-panelled doors with H and butterfly hinges. The original attic roof timbers are also preserved.
