Description

Hall Farmhouse, originally Old Hall Farmhouse, is a brick farmhouse dated 1826, as indicated by a plaque on the rear elevation. It has been subdivided into two dwellings. The building consists of a nearly square main block with a two-storey service extension to the rear, all covered by corrugated tile roofs.

The south facade features three bays of sash windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arches, and angle pilasters, with a slightly advanced central bay. A fine Doric doorcase comprises a pair of fluted columns supporting an entablature decorated with triglyphs, guttae, and mutules. The roof is hipped with a pair of axial stacks.

Inside, the original staircase remains, featuring stick balusters, an open string, and a swept and wreathed mahogany handrail.
