Description
Dickers is a house dated 1682, constructed from colour-washed flint and topped with pantiles. It features a lobby entrance and is built in two bays over two storeys. The central axial stack has been rebuilt. The front displays flint with a brick platband, and the upper floor is made of coursed flint with the date 1682 marked in brick. There are two casement windows on each floor, with a door located to the right. The left gable is rendered and scored over flint, while the right gable is primarily flint but mostly hidden by 19th and 20th-century additions. At the rear, there is a coursed flint and brick mosaic with a dog tooth cornice and a door in front of the stack. Brick windows are positioned on either side of the door; the left window features an ovolo moulded brick mullion, and the right window has a wooden mullion. Inside, some beams are chamfered with run-out stops.
