Description

No 2 Guild Street is an early to mid 19th century red brick cottage. It features a pantile roof with brick coping at the gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The building is two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor (the centre window is blocked) and three windows on the ground floor. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in exposed moulded casings. There is an off-centre doorway on the right, which has a moulded doorcase, a moulded and panelled door, and a narrow rectangular fanlight above it. Brick chimney stacks are located over the gable ends.
