Description

The barn and cart shed located to the east of No 18 on Hindringham Road in Great Walsingham is likely from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed from brick and flint, featuring a steep pantile roof with brick coping at the gable end. The barn has large double doors at the center, with later buttresses added to the right and a ventilation slit to the left. Adjoining the barn at a right angle is a late 19th-century cart shed supported by cast iron columns. This cart shed has a hipped pantile roof and flint walls with red brick dressings.
