Description
Wrought iron railings, piers, and urns are located about 10 meters south of Sheringham Hall. These railings separate the south facade of Sheringham Hall from its park. Sheringham Hall was built between 1812 and 1819 by H. and J.A. Repton, with the park designed by H. Repton. The railings feature upright bars that are regularly articulated by two pairs of bars, each pair connected by iron circles. At either end, there are square piers made of gault brick, capped with stone, and each pier is topped with a stone urn that has a frieze of figures and draped handles.
