Description

St Michael’s House is an 18th-century building, dating from 1793, located in Jicklings Yard. It is a two-storey and attic structure with three windows facing south, and has been altered since its original construction. The building is constructed of red brick and features a porch with Greek Doric columns and coupled brackets. The interior retains hewn beams. An illustration of the house appears in "Wells-next-the-Sea" by A. W. Purchas, on page 21. St Michael’s House and St Michael’s Cottage form a group with Sunnyville, Red Lion Yard.
