Description
The Regency Hotel is an early 19th-century building located on West Cliff. It features a stuccoed exterior and a hipped pantile roof with paired brackets supporting the overhanging eaves. The hotel stands three storeys tall with a basement and has seven windows. The second-floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, although one has been replaced by a two-light sash. The ground and first floors have two-storey bays with rounded corners, also featuring sashes with glazing bars. The two bays on the right are wider, while the left bay has been replaced by a later square bay window. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in West Cliff, which includes all listed structures in Jetty Street, Jetty Cliff, and West Cliff.
