Description
Victoria House is an early 19th-century building located on Jetty Street. It features a stuccoed exterior and a hipped pantile roof. The structure stands three storeys tall and has two windows on the front, which are sashes without glazing bars. The first floor has a left bay of sashes without glazing bars, rounded corners, and a cornice. There is a recessed doorway on the right-hand side with a rectangular fanlight above it. The left-hand return facing the sea front has a similar elevation, but the first floor bay is on the right, with a rounded left-hand corner and one window. There are two semi-basement windows with semi-circular areas, and on Jetty Street, there is one semi-basement window with a rectangular area. Victoria House is part of a group of listed buildings in High Street, along with those in Jetty Street, Jetty Cliff, and West Cliff.
