Description

No. 20 and No. 24A on Bridge Street are buildings dating from 1823, featuring the initials WR on the twin gables to the east. They are constructed of pale brick and have pantile roofs. The buildings rise to three storeys and include five sash windows on the first floor, which now only have central glazing bars. The windows on the third storey are blank. There is a band at the first floor level and a cill band at the second floor. The buildings have three entrances and a plain parapet. The right side of the front wall is made of buff brick, with a wept cope and square piers that are topped with sculptured eagles.
