Description
The stables to Ryston Hall, built in the early 18th century, are constructed of galleted carstone with brick window surrounds and feature a pantiled roof. The building has six bays arranged symmetrically over two storeys. There are two round-headed doors below square openings that provide access to the hay loft. The ground floor has four round-headed windows, while the first floor features four square swivel sash windows, all retaining their original 18th-century glazing bars. The gabled roof is topped with a central square tower that has a contemporary clock face and is crowned by a timber cupola supported by round open arches. The bays on the east and west sides were converted into garages in the 20th century, but these alterations are not included in the listing.
