Description

This is a bridge built in the early 19th century, around 1815, located on the line of the former Heacham-Hunstanton Road. It is constructed from squared, coursed, and dressed carstone. The bridge features a single stilted arched design with a humped back and a parapet wall, showcasing a Gothick style. Above the arch, there is a central shield; the northern side is blank, while the southern side displays a coat of arms featuring two lions. The bridge is popularly known as "Waterloo" Bridge.
