Description

Primrose Cottage and Fantasia, located at Weasenham Road (north side), is a row of cottages now divided into two homes. They date from the first half of the 18th century and are constructed from roughly knapped squared coursed flint with brick dressings and a red pantiled roof. The ground floor features four 20th-century replacement two-light arched headed casements, while the first floor has five two-light casements with glazing bars and two blocked first floor windows. There is a raised brick plat-band at the first floor level, flush angle quoins, and a brick stack at the west end, along with a brick addition that has an end gable stack on the east side. The property is complemented by railings with three wicket gates, which have spear-topped rails on a brick plinth. This listing is included for its group value.
