Description
The stable block north of Terrington Lodge dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of brick with a pantile roof. It stands two storeys tall, featuring a north front that has a simple and austere design. There is a blocked square window on the ground floor, positioned to the left of the center. The first floor includes a central round-headed hay loft loading door, which is flanked on both sides by blind semi-circular windows. The roof is hipped. The stables are connected to boundary walls by a ramped wall that encloses tack rooms, which are illuminated by semi-circular windows on the right and left. The south front has two sash windows with glazing bars located to the left of a doorway that is topped by an overlight.
